 'Rescue Training Dummies' training dummies and training mannequins
are used by Fire and Rescue services worldwide, the British Ministry
of Defence (MOD) and all other Emergency Services.
So what is a Rescue Training Dummy?
A rescue training dummy is realistic in size and weight.
Each rescue training dummy is produced using an inner and outer layer,
the flexible inner core is weighted to human proportions using
2-4 mm aggregate. The outer layer of durable 15 oz Canvas, has
all seams double stitched and is reinforced with high density polypropylene
webbing for improved abrasion resistance in identified high stress
areas. The two layers are then separated and padded using 25mm
fire retardant foam
